Our 30+ years of experience can help you design and build what you need
PCC has performed both Design-Assist and Design-Build services and we are comfortable with either delivery system. Both systems function similarly when the team shares the objectives and goals of the client. Many customers prefer Design-Build with its single point of responsibility. Others prefer to retain authority over the design team and encourage contractor participation in the development of the drawings. We are happy to participate in the system that works best for our customers.
The Benefits of our Design Assist services:
This format offers some of the same benefits to the owner as in the Design/Build procurement process, but the design team remains in contract with the owner.
Builder brought in early during design phase to provide budgets based on schematic design documents.
Builder works with the design team and owner to provide a project schedule inclusive of design, review, permit, subcontractor bidding, and ultimately construction phases.
Builder is present to provide design feedback and construction feasibility studies as design progresses.
Builder performs regular budget updates based on the design progress to confirm the project is within the original budget.
After more than 7 years of design, government processing and construction, Grace Point Church is finally complete and occupied. I am pleased to say that PCC did an exemplary job of completing the three phases. Due to the complexities of the site and buildings, the team met many challenges along the way and all worked together to solve the inevitable dilemma that occurred on the project. Congratulations and we look forward to working with you again in the future.       Rick D. Clark, AIA, Vice President, Schuss Clark
